1st Line IT Engineer


Role: 1st Line IT Engineer Location: London (client-facing with site visits) Salary: Up to £30,000 + bonus Benefits: Bonus, private healthcare, share scheme, strong wellbeing package Our client, a leading provider of managed IT and connectivity services, is looking for a 1st Line IT Engineer to join their growing support team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a varied client base, gaining exposure to multiple technologies while building your technical skillset in a fast-paced, supportive environment. What you’ll do Provide 1st line support across desktop, server, and network environments Take ownership of incoming service desk tickets and see issues through to resolution Troubleshoot across Windows, Mac, and remote desktop environments Support Microsoft technologies including Office 365, Exchange, and Active Directory Carry out system checks, monitoring, and documentation updates You’ll work closely with internal technical teams and external clients to deliver a high-quality support service, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally. What we’re looking for Experience in a service desk or MSP environment Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and remote desktop services Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP) Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, a genuine passion for technology, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
