Groundworks Foreman / Working Foreman – Bournemouth We are currently recruiting for an experienced Working Groundworks Foreman to join a major groundworks project in Bournemouth. This is a hands-on role on a large-scale scheme, offering long-term work with a reputable contractor. The Role: This position will suit a Foreman who is equally comfortable supervising a team and working on the tools when required. You will play a key role in driving productivity on site while ensuring all work is carried out safely and to specification. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and lead groundworks operatives on site * Work alongside the team when required (hands-on role) * Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety standards * Coordinate daily site activities and manage labour and plant * Monitor progress and report to site management * Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship * Liaise with engineers, site managers, and subcontractors Requirements: * Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman or Working Foreman * Strong all-round knowledge of groundworks and civil engineering * SSSTS or SMSTS qualification * Valid CSCS card * Ability to read and interpret drawings * First Aid certification (preferred) * Strong leadership and communication skills What’s on Offer: * Competitive rates / salary depending on experience * Long-term opportunity on a major project * Immediate start available If you are an experienced Working Groundworks Foreman looking for your next role in Bournemouth, apply now or get in touch for more information
