Forklift Driver

Job Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklift equipment to move, load, and store goods within a warehouse environment, ensuring efficient stock handling and compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities: * Operate forklift trucks (e.g. counterbalance, reach) safely and in line with regulations * Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles * Transport materials to and from storage areas * Stack and organise pallets in designated locations * Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any issues * Support general warehouse duties when required * Maintain a clean and safe working environment * Follow all health and safety procedures Requirements: * Valid forklift licence (e.g. Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck) * Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting preferred * Good awareness of workplace health and safety * Ability to follow instructions and work independently * Basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills * Physically capable of manual handling tasks Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 3pm Pay: £12.80ph rishing to £13.20 at the beginning of April (weekly pay)
