Lead Gas Engineer

Lead Commercial & Domestic Gas Engineer Location: London & Greater London Salary: £60,000 basic rising to £65,000 after 12 months + company vehicle of choice A well-established and growing building services contractor operating across London is seeking an experienced Commercial & Domestic Gas Engineer to step into a Lead Engineer role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior engineer who wants to progress into a leadership position and play a key role in developing a gas division within a growing organisation. Initially, you will carry out servicing, maintenance and installation works across commercial and domestic gas systems. As the role develops, you will take on more responsibility supervising engineers, improving systems and supporting gas projects. This role offers a genuine opportunity to progress into a senior leadership position while helping develop and grow the gas division. Key Responsibilities • Service, maintain and install commercial and domestic gas boilers • Lead engineers across gas works and maintenance projects • Support and mentor junior engineers • Ensure Gas Safe compliance and industry standards are met • Assist in developing systems and processes for the gas division • Support the growth and management of the gas engineering team Requirements • Gas Safe Registered • Domestic & Commercial ACS qualifications • Strong experience with commercial and domestic gas systems • Leadership mindset or previous supervisory experience • Full UK driving licence Package • £60,000 basic salary • Salary increase to £65,000 after 12 months • Company vehicle of your choice + personal usage • Fuel card • Laptop & mobile phone • Bonus scheme & incentives • Clear progression into senior leadership role and help shape the future of the gas division All applications are handled in strict confidence by our recruitment partner.
