GCSE tutor with SEN experience

About the Role As an SEN GCSE Tutor, you will provide tailored one-to-one or small group tuition for students who require additional support with their learning. Many students may have needs such as ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, or other learning differences. Tuition may take place in schools, students' homes, or community settings across South West London. Key Responsibilities Deliver personalised GCSE tuition in your specialist subject(s) Adapt teaching strategies to suit students with Special Educational Needs Build positive relationships that support students' confidence and engagement Use differentiated approaches and resources to support learning Track progress and provide feedback where required Subjects in Demand We are particularly looking for tutors in: Maths English Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) Humanities (History, Geography) Requirements Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs Strong subject knowledge at GCSE level Previous tutoring, teaching, or SEN support experience preferred Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Right to work in the UK What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of £25-£30 per hour Flexible working hours Opportunities to make a meaningful impact on students' learning Ongoing support from our team If you are passionate about supporting students with additional needs and helping them succeed academically, we would love to hear from you.
