GCSE tutor

About the Role As a GCSE Tutor, you will work with students either one-to-one or in small groups, providing targeted support to help them improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance. Tuition may take place in schools, students' homes, or community settings across South West London. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective GCSE tuition in your specialist subject(s) Support students with exam preparation, revision strategies, and subject knowledge Adapt sessions to meet the individual learning needs of each student Track progress and provide feedback where required Subjects in Demand We are particularly looking for tutors in: Maths English Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) Humanities (History, Geography) Modern Foreign Languages Requirements Strong subject knowledge at GCSE level Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred Ability to build rapport and motivate students Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Right to work in the UK What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of £25-£30 per hour Flexible working hours Opportunities to work with a variety of students and schools Ongoing support from our team If you are passionate about education and want to make a meaningful difference in students' academic journeys, we would love to hear from you.
