Contracts Manager

A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Cladding Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple façade and cladding packages across a portfolio of major construction projects. This is a key role within the building envelope team, responsible for managing the full lifecycle of cladding packages from procurement through to installation and completion. The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding of façade systems and will be confident managing subcontractors, programme delivery, and client coordination on large-scale developments. Key Responsibilities * Oversee multiple cladding and façade packages across major projects * Manage subcontractors delivering curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, SFS systems, and external façade elements * Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards * Review technical drawings, specifications, and design information to ensure buildability and compliance * Work closely with design teams, consultants, and client representatives * Monitor programme, cost, and risk across assigned projects * Ensure compliance with building regulations, fire safety standards, and façade performance requirements * Attend site meetings and coordinate with project teams and senior management * Support procurement and package management of façade subcontractors Requirements * Proven experience managing cladding / façade packages on large construction projects * Background working for a main contractor, façade specialist, or Tier 1 contractor * Strong technical knowledge of building envelope systems including rainscreen, curtain walling, SFS, and insulation systems * Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate complex construction programmes * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Strong understanding of health & safety and quality assurance processes Qualifications (Desirable) * Construction-related qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) * SMSTS * CSCS Card What’s on Offer * Competitive salary and package * Opportunity to work with a major Tier 1 contractor on landmark projects * Long-term career progression within a growing division * Exposure to high-value, technically complex façade packages
