CNC Operator Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex Salary: up to £38,500 per annum depending on experience Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm | Friday 8:00am-1:00pm CNC Operator - Aerospace Manufacturing Our client, a global leader in aerospace component manufacturing, is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Operator / CNC Miller to join their growing manufacturing team in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with CNC milling experience who enjoys working with precision-engineered components in a high-quality aerospace environment. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machines, including horizontal and vertical machining centres Manufacture small-batch precision aerospace components Work to tight tolerances following detailed engineering drawings Use precision measuring equipment to verify component accuracy Carry out drilling, deburring, finishing, and packing of machined parts Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety Support other manufacturing areas including assembly, fabrication, and machine shop functions Skills & Experience Proven experience as a CNC Operator or CNC Miller Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working with metal materials Competent working with metric and imperial measurements Experience using inspection and measuring equipment Computer literate with a methodical and detail-oriented approach Able to work independently and as part of a teamDesirable Aerospace or automotive manufacturing experience Formal CNC training or apprenticeship GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) Benefits Salary up to £38,500 depending on experience 24 days holiday plus bank holidays Contributory pension scheme Life assurance Health care scheme Employee assistance programme Free gym membership On-site parking On-site café and social club Additional Information Candidates requiring visa sponsorship cannot be considered for this role.
