Junior Mechanical Engineer- London

Falcon Green is currently working with a well-established mechanical building services subcontractor that specialises in the design, supply, and installation of mechanical systems across a range of construction projects, including large residential and commercial developments. As a result of continued expansion and a strong order book of upcoming work, they are now looking to recruit a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their commercial team and support the delivery of multiple projects across London. Junior Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities: * Assist senior engineers in the coordination and supervision of mechanical installations on site. * Support the review of mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements. * Work closely with subcontractors to ensure mechanical works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. * Assist in the planning and monitoring of mechanical installation activities in line with the construction programme. * Support the preparation and management of method statements, risk assessments, and technical documentation. * Help coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems. * Attend and contribute to site meetings and coordination meetings with other disciplines. * Assist with snagging, inspections, and quality checks during the installation process. Junior Mechanical Engineer Requirements: * A relevant degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. * Some previous site experience or internship within construction, MEP, or engineering projects is beneficial. * Strong technical understanding of mechanical building services systems. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. * Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to work within a project team. * A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced project environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with familiarity in engineering software or BIM tools considered an advantage.
