Mobile Electrical Engineer

The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting a long-term PFI contract. This is a key role focused on delivering reliable, compliant, and high-quality building services maintenance across a secure estate. You’ll be responsible for ensuring critical systems remain fully operational, safe, and compliant at all times. Key Responsibilities * Maintain and operate building services systems including HVAC, UPS, generators, and electrical equipment * Respond promptly to faults and breakdowns, minimising downtime * Carry out controlled switching on HV and LV systems (as authorised) * Supervise contractors and ensure work meets quality and safety standards * Conduct regular inspections, audits, and maintain accurate compliance records * Manage parts ordering and support control room handovers * Assist with shift planning and uphold high housekeeping standards What We’re Looking For * Minimum 5 years’ experience in building services maintenance or engineering * Strong working knowledge of BEMS, HVAC, UPS, generators, fire and life safety systems, and water treatment * City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent) * 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualified * HV Authorised Person * Strong communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach * Basic IT proficiency * Experience within a PFI contract environment (desirable) Why Join Us?
