Earthworks Foreman / Supervisor 📍 HS2 Project – Just Outside Aylesbury 💷 Competitive Salary + Package 🕒 Full-Time | Permanent / Long-Term Contract We are currently seeking an experienced Earthworks Foreman / Supervisor to join a major infrastructure scheme on the prestigious High Speed 2 (HS2) project, located just outside Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on one of the UK’s largest and most high-profile civil engineering projects. 🔧 The Role As Earthworks Foreman / Supervisor, you will be responsible for: * Supervising day-to-day earthworks operations (cut & fill, bulk excavation, remediation, soil stabilisation) * Managing plant, labour, and subcontractors on site * Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification * Conducting daily briefings and toolbox talks * Monitoring quality control and compliance with environmental standards * Liaising with Site Managers, Engineers, and Project Management teams * Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress ✅ Requirements * Proven experience supervising bulk earthworks on major infrastructure projects * Strong knowledge of earthmoving plant and sequencing * SSSTS or SMSTS (essential) * CSCS Gold/Black Card * First Aid at Work (preferred) * Strong leadership and communication skills * Experience working within strict HSEQ standards HS2 experience is highly desirable but not essential. 🌍 What’s On Offer * Competitive salary or day rate (DOE) * Long-term project stability * Opportunity to work on a nationally significant infrastructure scheme * Supportive and forward-thinking management team * Career progression opportunities within a growing civil engineering contractor If you are a driven Earthworks Supervisor looking to take the next step on a flagship project near Aylesbury, we would love to hear from you
