Site manager

We are recruiting 2x Site Managers for a large-scale student accommodation scheme in Wembley. This is a permanent opportunity to join a major project team delivering a substantial RC frame residential development. The role would suit a driven, younger Site Manager with strong experience in early-stage works including groundworks, civils, piling, and deep excavation. You will report directly to a Senior Site Manager and play a key role in delivering the substructure package. Experience working with tier-one or large main contractors is highly desirable (backgrounds such as Bouygues are of particular interest). Key Responsibilities * Managing day-to-day site operations for groundworks and substructure packages * Overseeing piling, deep excavation, drainage, and civils works * Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme * Maintaining high health & safety standards across site * Conducting inductions, toolbox talks, and ensuring RAMS compliance * Monitoring quality control and ensuring works meet specification * Reporting progress to Senior Site Manager and Project Manager * Assisting in programme management and sequencing of works Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Manager on large residential or student accommodation schemes * Strong technical knowledge of: * Groundworks * Civils * Piling * Deep excavation * Experience working under a Senior Site Manager on large-scale projects * Background with a recognised main contractor (Bouygues or similar tier-one preferred) * SMSTS * CSCS (Black Card preferred) * First Aid at Work * Strong organisational and communication skills * Ambitious and career-driven What’s on Offer * Permanent role on a flagship Wembley development * Opportunity to progress within a structured senior team * Competitive salary + package (DOE)
