Financial Systems Analyst

Role: Financial Systems Analyst Duration: Initial 3 Months with likely extensions Location: Hybrid – London (1 day a week in the office) Rate: Competitive DOE (Outside IR35) Chapman Tate Associates is partnering with a leading law firm to appoint an experienced Financial Systems Analyst on an initial 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a systems specialist with strong legal sector experience to play a key role in supporting and optimising a critical financial platform and working on key projects in this space. The Role You will be responsible for the support, configuration, reporting, and optimisation of the firm’s financial systems, ensuring stability, accuracy, and performance across finance operations. Working closely with Finance, IT, and key stakeholders, you’ll provide both BAU support and project-based enhancements. Key Requirements * Proven experience with Aderant (essential) * Strong SQL skills – writing queries, troubleshooting, reporting, and data analysis * Minimum 3 years’ experience working within law firms * Strong understanding of legal finance processes (billing, WIP, disbursements, general ledger, etc.) * Experience supporting finance users and resolving system issues * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced professional services environment Desirable * Experience with system upgrades or migrations * Exposure to integrations between Aderant and other business systems * Strong stakeholder communication skills If you’re an experienced Financial Systems Analyst with strong Aderant and SQL expertise within the legal sector, we’d love to hear from you
