Secondary English Teacher

Secondary English Teacher – KS3 & KS4 We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will inspire students to achieve their full potential, foster a love of literature and language, and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons for KS3 and KS4 students * Support students in achieving academic targets, including preparation for GCSE examinations * Encourage critical thinking, reading comprehension, and creative writing skills * Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, promoting a positive classroom culture * Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies * Contribute to the wider school community and extra-curricular activities Essential Skills & Qualifications: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 * Strong subject knowledge and ability to make lessons engaging and relevant * Excellent classroom management and organisational skills * Commitment to supporting student progress and well-being This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ learning journey while being part of a supportive and collaborative school community
