SEN Teacher

Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity? A supportive Primary School in the NG12 postcode area is seeking a dedicated and skilled SEN Teacher to join their team on a 0.8 contract, starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, working closely with pupils who require additional support. The role will involve delivering tailored teaching and interventions to meet a range of special educational needs, with a particular focus on communication and interaction. Proven experience supporting pupils with communication and interaction needs is essential for this position. The Role: SEN Teacher 0.8 contract (4 days per week) Based at a Primary School in NG12 Start ASAP Planning, delivering and assessing personalised learning programmes Working collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff and external agencies What We're Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Strong experience within an SEN setting or supporting pupils with additional needs Essential experience supporting communication and interaction needs (e.g. speech and language difficulties, ASC) A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What You Can Expect: A welcoming and inclusive school environment The opportunity to have a meaningful impact on pupils' development Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Competitive daily pay: £168.80 - £232.57, depending on experience and responsibilities This role would suit a passionate SEN specialist or an experienced Primary Teacher with a strong background in supporting communication and interaction needs who is looking for a consistent part-time opportunity.
