MEICA Project Engineer

MEICA Project Engineer (Scoping / Pre-Construction Bias) We are currently working with a Tier 1 Delivery contractor, looking to appoint a MEICA Project Engineer with a strong bias towards scoping and pre-construction activities to support the development of projects across water and wastewater frameworks. This role would suit someone from a Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineering background who enjoys early-stage project involvement, defining scope, assessing risk, and shaping projects before they go to site. The Role You will play a key role in the front-end development of schemes, working closely with designers, construction teams, and commercial departments to ensure projects are well-defined, buildable, and commercially viable. Key Responsibilities * Undertaking site visits and asset condition assessments * Developing detailed scope documents and engineering reports * Defining project requirements in collaboration with client stakeholders * Identifying risks, constraints and constructability considerations * Supporting outline design development and technical solutions * Assisting with cost estimates and programme input * Liaising with design teams across Mechanical, Electrical and Civil disciplines * Supporting tender documentation and handover into delivery teams About You * Background in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering * Experience within water / wastewater or utilities infrastructure * Strong understanding of MEICA installations and site-based constraints * Comfortable working in early project lifecycle / feasibility stages * Able to interpret drawings, specifications and asset data * Commercially aware with strong communication skills If interested, please apply online and a member of the team will be in touch to discuss further!
