Warehouse & Distribution Manager

Warehouse and Distribution Manager Gloucester Permanent Position 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday Up to £60,000 per annum + Benefits We are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Distribution Manager to lead the safe, accurate and efficient storage, handling and distribution of raw materials, components, work-in-progress and finished goods. This role supports both manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth material flow from goods-in through to customer delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch Ensure accurate inventory control, stock rotation and stock level management Manage inbound goods, inspections and system transactions (ERP/MRP) Oversee timely, cost-effective dispatch and transport coordination Support production through effective material issue, kitting and staging Maintain full compliance with health, safety and environmental standards Lead, develop and motivate warehouse and dispatch teams Drive continuous improvement in layout, processes and efficiency About You Proven warehouse leadership experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment Strong knowledge of inventory management and material flow Experience working with ERP/MRP systems Solid understanding of health & safety compliance Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills Continuous improvement mindset For more information, contact Rory McStay
