Mechanical Engineer – Data Centre Project (Espoo, Finland) Salary: €100,000 - €110,000 + Accommodation + Transport + Rotation 17/4 + €1,000 Living Cost p/m Location: Espoo, Uusimaa, Finland Type: Full-Time, Site-Based We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a major data centre project in Espoo, Finland. This position is site-based and involves working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality mechanical systems and installations. The Mechanical Engineer will support technical delivery, design coordination, procurement, and oversight of mechanical services throughout the full project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Manage communication with clients and project stakeholders * Lead or support design management activities * Coordinate with contractors to ensure mechanical and MEP services integrate seamlessly * Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities * Complete all HVAC-related deliverables in alignment with project and safety standards * Coordinate installation sequencing for pipework and mechanical systems * Oversee procurement of plant, materials, and specialist subcontractors * Support installation works to achieve the required quality standards and programme milestones * Assist with commissioning activities and final project handover * Document and cost changes to scope, and support monthly valuations and final accounts Requirements * Proven experience in a mechanical engineering role within an M&E contracting environment * Strong design management experience * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field * Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills * Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Benefits * €100,000 - €110,000 + Accommodation + Transport + Rotation 17/4 + €1,000 Living Cost p/m * Opportunity to work on high-profile data centre projects across Europe * Competitive salary package * Collaborative and supportive working environment * Career development and progression opportunities * Option for rotational roster
