Inventory Analyst (Field-Based) - London Contract: 12‑month fixed term Salary: £35,520 per year Hours: Monday-Friday, full time Location: Field-based, travelling between multiple London hospitals About the Role Are you experienced in inventory management and ready to make a real impact in healthcare? We're looking for a Field-Based Inventory Analyst to support hospital sites across London. You'll be the go‑to expert for our Inventory Management System (IMS) and play a key role in ensuring stock is handled efficiently, accurately and safely. This is a great opportunity to use your analytical skills in a meaningful environment, working closely with hospital teams and internal colleagues to keep essential medical supplies flowing smoothly. What You'll Be Doing Inventory & System Management Oversee the full lifecycle of stock - from ordering to final use. Maintain accurate master data and inventory records. Work with hospital teams to identify and resolve stock discrepancies. Stock Control & Risk Management Monitor stock levels daily to reduce shortages, overstocks, and expired items. Carry out routine cycle counts and investigate any variances. Supplier & Returns Coordination Manage product returns and ensure hospital teams are kept informed. Track supplier performance and ensure service levels are met. Reporting & Analysis Produce regular reports on stock levels and system performance. Spot trends and suggest improvements based on data analysis. Continuous Improvement Identify ways to improve processes and user experience. Share best practices to enhance efficiency across the service. Product & Equipment Support Assist with the introduction of new products and raise any equipment issues. Collaboration & Customer Service Build strong working relationships with hospital staff. Support the Service Delivery Manager with contract obligations and service performance. What We're Looking For Essential Experience in inventory, supply chain, stock control or analytical roles. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Confident, clear communication in English. Desirable Experience working in a hospital, operating room or cath lab. Understanding of healthcare standards and procedures. Why Join Us?
