Home-based Field Service Engineer supporting paper manufacturing customers across the North West. Part of the Northern Service Team, providing 24/7 technical support for QCS and DCS systems. This role combines hands-on field service, customer support, and preventative and corrective maintenance. Key Responsibilities * Deliver Service Agreement scope, including preventative and corrective maintenance * Support, configure, calibrate, modify, and troubleshoot QCS/DCS equipment * Provide on-site and remote technical support, including out-of-hours assistance * Participate in 1 week in 3 on-call rota * Build strong working relationships with production and engineering teams * Advise customers on maintenance, operational methods, process measurement, and control * Travel across the UK as required * Prepare technical reports using ServicePro and other reporting tools Qualifications * Minimum HNC in Electrical or Measurement & Control Engineering (essential) * Clean UK driving licence (essential) * Self-motivated, able to work independently * Strong customer focus and networking skills * Results-oriented with good commercial awareness * Knowledge of the paper industry (desirable) * Experience with QCS or DCS systems (desirable)
