This person will be working on the design and implementation of mechanical systems within data centre environments, playing a key role in the design, development and optimisation of critical systems that support data centre infrastructure. Benefits of being a Mechanical Design Engineer: Temp-to-perm contract Flexible hybrid workingThe Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for: Design and develop mechanical systems for data centres, including HVAC, cooling systems, fire suppression, and other critical infrastructure Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into the overall design Provide support during the installation, commissioning, and testing of systems Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design-related issues during the lifecycle of a projectOur Mechanical Design Engineer will have the following: Data Centre experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Proven experience designing mechanical systems in data centres Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, and fire suppression designs in a data centre context Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
