Primary Teaching Assistant – Long-Term Opportunity Location: Hailsham Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long-Term | Full-Time Hours: 08:30 – 15:30 Pay: £13.70 – £14.66 per hour A friendly and supportive primary school in Hailsham is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, supporting pupils across the primary age range within a caring and inclusive school environment. The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting teaching and learning by: Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging daily lessons Providing 1:1 support and working with small groups of pupils Helping to create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment Supporting with lesson preparation and general classroom duties Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting pupil wellbeing About You We are looking for someone who: Has a genuine passion for working with primary-aged children Has previous school experience (desirable but not essential) Demonstrates strong communication skills and adaptability Holds a DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to apply for one What’s on Offer Competitive hourly rate Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Secure, long-term placement £150 referral bonus scheme If you are enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to support young learners in reaching their full potential, we would love to hear from you
