Teaching Assistant – Full Time Bedford Immediate Start | Temporary to Permanent Opportunities Are you a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Kettering? We are working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across the area who are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a full-time, temporary basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in their academic progress while contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment. The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils Assist children with SEND and/or EAL needs Help manage classroom behaviour and routines Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and well-being Support with preparation of learning materials and classroom organisation The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has previous experience working with children (school experience desirable) Is patient, reliable, and proactive Has strong communication and interpersonal skills Is adaptable and confident supporting different year groups Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service What We Offer Full-time work in local Kettering schools Competitive weekly pay Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant Access to free CPD and safeguarding training Opportunities for long-term and permanent positions How to Apply Apply now by submitting your CV.
