Job Title: Multi-Skilled Shift Technician Location: Canary Wharf & Moorgate, London Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + £5,000 shift allowance (circa £55,000 total package) Working Pattern: Continental Shift Rotation (Days & Nights) An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Shift Technician to join a high-end corporate building services contract across two prestigious London sites. This role will involve operating and maintaining critical building services systems within a modern commercial office environment. Engineers with a mechanical bias are welcome, provided they have strong building services experience. You will initially be primarily based at the Canary Wharf site, with increasing support required at the Moorgate office following its fit-out completion. Your duties will include: • Operating and maintaining HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and fire safety systems. • Ensuring PPM and reactive maintenance tasks are completed within agreed SLAs. • Managing risk assessments, permits to work, and compliance documentation. • Supporting landlord and tenant services within a high-spec commercial environment. • Working closely with the on-site engineering team to ensure operational excellence. • Using CAFM systems for job management and reporting (Planon experience advantageous). Shift Pattern: • 4 nights on, 4 rest days • 3 days & 3 nights on, 4 rest days • 4 days on, 6 rest days (Continental shift rotation covering days and nights) What’s On Offer: • Salary: Up to £50,000 basic. • Shift Allowance: £5,000 (total package circa £55,000). • Annual Leave: 24 shift days. • Pool Vehicle: Provided for travel between Canary Wharf and Moorgate sites. • Opportunity to work within a high-profile corporate environment. • Training and development opportunities, including HVAP training where required. Ideal Candidate: • Multi-skilled engineer with building services experience (mechanical bias considered). • Strong HVAC and mechanical knowledge, with good electrical understanding. • HVAP desirable (training provided if not currently authorised). • Health & safety awareness (IOSH Managing Safely or similar preferred). • Experience using CAFM systems (Planon advantageous). • Flexible, proactive, and strong communicator with a “can-do” attitude. • Comfortable working rotating days and nights.
