Finance Assistant | Hybrid | Telford | £26,000 – £28,000 | Full-time | Temp to Perm Seymour John are recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of a growing manufacturing business based in Telford. This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of home and office working, and is available on either a temporary or permanent basis. The position has arisen due to an immediate vacancy, with strong long-term potential for the right candidate. The Role You will provide day-to-day support to the finance function, ensuring accurate processing and effective communication across the business. Key Responsibilities * Processing purchase orders * Posting sales and purchase invoices onto the accounting system * Preparing supplier payment runs * Managing and monitoring the finance email inbox * Assisting with basic reconciliations * Supporting VAT and invoicing processes * General administrative support within finance Skills & Experience * Previous experience in a finance or accounts-based role * Understanding of invoicing, VAT, and basic reconciliations * Experience using accounting software * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines * Confident communication skills * Proactive and reliable approach Additional Information * Working pattern: Hybrid * Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (depending on experience) * Contract: Temporary initially, with the opportunity to become permanent This role would suit someone who can start quickly and is looking to develop their career within a growing and supportive business
