Graduate Credit Controller

SF Recruitment are working with a growing client based in Castle Donington who are seeking a Graduate Credit Control Assistant to join them on an ongoing temporary basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role for the right person. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career within finance. Full training will be provided, making this role ideal for someone with some exposure to finance, who is eager to learn and develop within a structured credit control function. Salary: £26,000 - 27,000pa Hybrid: Office-based 3 days per week Temporary: Potential temp-to-perm Key Responsibilities: - Supporting the credit control function across a portfolio of customer accounts - Contacting customers regarding outstanding payments in a professional manner - Assisting with account reconciliations and resolving invoice queries - Allocating incoming payments and updating financial systems - Supporting payment plan arrangements where required - Assisting with credit reporting and regular ledger reviews - Working closely with the wider finance team to ensure smooth cash flow Key Skills & Experience: - Recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline - Some exposure to finance (through studies, internship, placement, or part-time role) desirable but not essential - Strong Excel skills and good general IT literacy - Confident and professional communication skills - Organised, detail-oriented, and methodical - Eager to learn, take direction, and develop within a finance career This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in credit control within a supportive and growing business.
