The company specialises in manufacturing high-quality stainless steel and mild steel staircases, balustrades and structural metalwork for commercial developments. The Job Role Position: Due to expansion, the business is recruiting for a skilled TIG Fabricator Welder to join their workshop team. The TIG Fabricator Welder will be responsible for precision fabrication and welding of stainless steel staircases and balustrades, ensuring a high cosmetic finish. Responsibilities include: TIG welding stainless steel and mild steel Fabricating staircases, balustrades and handrails from engineering drawings Producing clean, visible welds to architectural standards Measuring, cutting and assembling components Grinding, polishing and finishing work Working with tube, box section and structural materials Operating workshop machinery safely The TIG Fabricator Welder will be expected to maintain high quality standards and work efficiently to project deadlines. The Candidate: The ideal TIG Fabricator Welder will have strong experience working on stainless steel architectural metalwork, particularly staircases and balustrades. Must be confident reading engineering drawings, working to tight tolerances and producing high-quality finished welds suitable for installation. Experience within a fabrication workshop environment is essential.
