Warehouse Night Picker

Location: Watford (WD) Shift: Night Shift (e.g., 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM) Contract: 12-Week Temp-to-Perm Are you looking for a long-term career rather than just a seasonal gig? We are currently recruiting for Night Warehouse Operatives to join a fast-paced distribution centre in Watford. This is a 12-week temp-to-perm position, meaning once you successfully complete your probation period, you will be offered a permanent contract with the company. The Role As a Warehouse Operative, you won’t just be moving boxes; you will be a vital part of the supply chain. Your main focus will be: * Accurate Picking & Packing: Using manual pick sheets or handheld scanners to prepare orders. * Quality Control: Ensuring every item is checked for damage and packed securely. * Goods In/Out: Assisting with the unloading of deliveries and organizing stock. * Inventory Care: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace. What We’re Looking For * Attention to Detail: This is the most important part of the job. You must be able to spot small errors to ensure the customer gets exactly what they ordered. * Reliability: Night shifts require dedication. We need team players who will show up on time, every time. * Physical Fitness: You’ll be on your feet for the duration of the shift and handling various stock sizes. * Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but if you have a great work ethic and a sharp eye, we want to hear from you.
