Carpenter Location: Southampton Pay: £20 per hour Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday Team: Responsive Repairs We are looking for a confident, self-motivated Carpenter to join our Housing Operations Responsive Repairs Team. This is a hands-on role delivering essential property repairs and maintenance services to residents across the city. If you take pride in your workmanship, enjoy problem-solving, and are comfortable working across a variety of trade-related tasks, we’d like to hear from you. About the Role You will carry out a wide range of construction and property maintenance activities within the Southampton, helping to keep residents’ homes safe, functional, and well maintained. This is a varied position that requires flexibility, strong practical skills, and a proactive approach. In addition to carpentry duties, you will be expected to undertake small works in other trade disciplines where required. You’ll be part of the Responsive Repairs team, working in occupied homes and liaising with residents on a daily basis — professionalism and customer focus are essential.
