Location: Saffron Walden (CB11) Type: Permanent Hours: Part time hours, preferably across 5 days. Flexible options available (occasional on call hours) Salary: competitive, depending on experience Job Reference: 35916 Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator to support the smooth day-to-day operation of their Saffron Walden site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong background in building maintenance, repairs or facilities work who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping a workplace running efficiently. Responsibilities: * Carry out minor repairs, maintenance tasks and general site upkeep * Coordinate and oversee contractor visits, ensuring works are completed to a high standard * Provide first-line IT and telephone support, assisting with basic troubleshooting * Support health and safety administration, including routine checks and documentation * Contribute to creating a safe, compliant and well-maintained working environment Requirements: * Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities or a similar hands-on role * Holds a current UK driving license * Administration and hands on experience of dealing with building repairs/maintenance and low-level IT * Working with suppliers and contractors in managing building projects and issue resolution * Good levels of experience using standard Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Outlook * Strong understanding of facilities management and building maintenance * Practical hands-on maintenance ability * Excellent communication skills * Ability to liaise effectively with external contractors * Familiarity with basic IT equipment and telephone systems * Exposure to health and safety processes would be beneficial Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below
