Key Duties and Responsibilities • Perform scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on utility equipment including industrial/commercial refrigeration equipment systems and plant. • Fault finding, breakdowns and servicing of refrigeration (various types of systems). • Fault finding of bespoke control systems. • Maintenance and servicing of refrigeration, including, CO2, hydrocarbons, and secondary systems (training for, CO2 and hydrocarbons will be given). • Responsibility for routine servicing and repairs as required, mechanical fault finding, electrics and all other duties associated with this role. • Completing all work assigned daily, ensuring adherence to company and manufacturer standards and agreed time constraints. • Record equipment history on engineering computer system and complete quality system documentation as required. • Ensuring that work is always to the highest standard, seeking to achieve consistently high customer satisfaction and repeat business. • Maintain levels of stock on the van to agreed specification. • Able to prioritise and organise workload to achieve set deadlines and KPIs • Maintain good working relationship with clients. • Complete company documents i.e. job cards, time sheets and maintenance reports. • Provide feedback to company management. • Provide detailed handovers to Engineering colleagues. • Ensure procedures, Health and Safety requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) are followed at all times to maintain compliance. • Manage to client’s strict health and safety policies and site procedures. • Carry out process improvements on own initiative, or as part of a Team, support efforts to improve equipment reliability. • Keep abreast of the current regulatory requirements within your area of expertise Education and Qualifications • NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning • FGAS Refrigerant Handling (City & Guilds 2079) Professional experience • Experience within the Refrigeration Industry • At least 3 year’s experience of in refrigeration systems is essential. • Experience working with SAP or similar ERP • Experience with different compressor technologies • Experience with CO2 and A2L systems • Deep understanding of UK and international standards and regulations
