Commercial Analyst

Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for commercial and financial analysis? We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our team and provide critical insights that drive strategic business decisions. This is a hybrid role based in Newcastle, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: * Provide high-quality financial and commercial analysis to support senior management decision-making, including board papers and business cases. * Analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to inform business strategy. * Evaluate new business opportunities, investments, and acquisitions through ROI, risk, and financial modelling. * Lead financial due diligence for potential investments and acquisitions, partnering with Finance and Legal teams. * Support commercial negotiations with key partners by providing insight, challenge, and scenario analysis. * Identify growth opportunities within the existing event portfolio and model future event opportunities. * Deliver revenue and cost trend analysis, highlighting efficiencies and opportunities for improvement. * Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making aligned with company objectives. What We’re Looking For: * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse complex data effectively. * Experience in commercial and financial analysis. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Commitment to outstanding customer service and stakeholder engagement. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with data analysis tools. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a hybrid working environment.
