Senior Electronics Engineer Birmingham £50,000 - £60,000 YT Technologies is working with a technology company based in Birmingham, developing next-generation digital instrumentation for an innovative and growing industry. To do this, they have combined expertise in sensor development with core competencies for applications and systems engineering. This enables them to provide customers with application-specific signals which integrate directly into their existing systems as well as a cloud offering, delivering on their strategy and providing tangible value to their customers.  About the Role  They are currently seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to assist in the development of the second generation of their technology. Reporting to the CTO and/or the COO of the company, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:  Key Responsibilities:  Hardware Design & Prototyping: Develop and verify schematic designs and PCB artwork, with a focus on ensuring stringent electromagnetic control for analogue signal paths. Hand-assembly of prototypes as required. Validation & Testing Design and execute experiments and test methods for thorough prototype validation. Ensure designs meet EMC compliance standards. Firmware & Version Control Assist in firmware development and manage version control using git/GitHub. Quality & Compliance: Any experience in the following would be beneficial but not essential; FPGA/SoC Development VHDL/Verilog/Xilinx Additional Requirements  Prepared to travel to customer sites, domestic and international.  Desire to develop new skills and competencies.  Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally, including customers.
