SEN OUTREACH TEACHER

Job Title: SEN Outreach Teacher (Year 8) – Camden Hours: 12 hours per week Rate: £50 per hour Start Date: ASAP Location: Camden, London Description: We are looking for a skilled and passionate SEN Outreach Teacher to support Year 8 pupils in Camden. The successful candidate will have a specialism or strong interest in performing arts, and will also be confident teaching English and Maths. This role involves delivering high-quality, personalised lessons to pupils with special educational needs, helping them achieve their full potential academically and creatively. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in English, Maths, and performing arts to Year 8 pupils with SEN. * Assess pupil needs and adapt teaching strategies to support individual learning styles. * Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and other professionals to track progress and support pupils’ wider development. * Maintain detailed records of pupil achievement and provide regular feedback. * Use performing arts techniques to enhance engagement, communication, and confidence. Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * Proven experience teaching SEN pupils in secondary school settings. * Specialism or strong interest in performing arts. * Ability to teach core subjects (English and Maths) effectively. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. * Ability to differentiate lessons and provide tailored support for individual pupils.
