Hand Pickers / Recycling Operatives – Immediate Start Location: CV6, Coventry Salary: £12.21 per hour Job Type: Full-time | Temp to Perm Industry: Waste Management / Recycling / Industrial Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid break) Job Description We are currently recruiting Hand Pickers / Recycling Operatives to join a well-established waste management and recycling company based in CV6, Coventry. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term employment, stability, and pay increases once permanent. This role is ideal for candidates seeking industrial, recycling, production, or waste operative work, with immediate starts available. Key Responsibilities * Hand picking and sorting recyclable and waste materials from a conveyor belt * Correctly separating materials such as plastic, cardboard, paper, and metal * Working in a recycling plant / waste processing facility * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area * Following all health & safety, site, and environmental procedures Requirements * No experience required – full training provided * Previous experience as a Hand Picker, Recycling Operative, Waste Operative, Production Operative, or Factory Operative is beneficial but not essential * Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately * Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial waste environment * Reliable, punctual, and hardworking What We Offer * £12.21 per hour * Immediate starts available * Temp-to-perm opportunity * Pay increase once permanent * Stable Monday to Friday working hours * Long-term work with progression opportunities
