Senior Quantity SurveyorLocation: Southwark, London Salary: £75,000 package Contract: 5-year secured programme A reputable and well-established social housing contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team delivering a long-term planned refurbishment programme in Southwark. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a secure 5-year contract, offering long-term stability, consistent workload, and the chance to play a key role in improving local housing stock within the community. The RoleBased in Southwark, you will take commercial responsibility for planned maintenance and refurbishment works across occupied social housing properties. Working closely with operational teams, clients, and supply chain partners, you will ensure projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and profitably. Key Responsibilities Full commercial management of planned refurbishment projects Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cost reports Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers Valuations, variations, and final accounts Ensuring compliance with contract terms and company procedures Building and maintaining strong client relationships Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff where required About You Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor Strong background in social housing refurbishment works Sound knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. JCT) Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Ability to work from a site-based role in Southwark What’s on Offer £75,000 salary attractive package Long-term 5-year secured programme in one geographical area Opportunity to work with a respected contractor in the social housing sector Career stability and progression within a growing business If you’re a commercially driven Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a long-term opportunity on a high-profile social housing programme in Southwark, this role offers both security and challenge in equal measure
