This role is primarily mobile-based, assisting customers with vehicle defects and compliance-related issues, with occasional workshop duties when required.  Attending customer sites to diagnose and repair HGV defects and faults  Providing onsite diagnostics, inspections, and minor to medium repairs  MOT preparation, defect rectification, and compliance-related work  Supporting customers with vehicle uptime and roadworthiness  Completing accurate job cards and service documentation  Carrying out workshop-based servicing and repairs as required to support operational demand The role for the HGV Technician / Mobile HGV Technician / Fleet Mechanic / HGV Mechanic / LGV Technician / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Mobile Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Commercial Vehicle Technician / Lorry Mechanic: Skilled HGV Technician to join a workshop team. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who is confident with diagnostics, MOT preparation, and providing mobile support when required.  Servicing, maintenance, and repair of HGVs to a high standard  MOT preparation, inspections, and defect rectification  Advanced diagnostics and fault-finding using modern diagnostic equipment  Onsite mobile support for breakdowns and fleet assistance as required  Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards  Maintaining accurate job cards and workshop documentation Skills and Requirements for the HGV Technician / Mobile HGV Technician / Fleet Mechanic / HGV Mechanic / LGV Technician / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Mobile Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Commercial Vehicle Technician / Lorry Mechanic:  Fully skilled HGV Technician with strong diagnostic capability  Relevant technical qualifications  C+E licence preferred (not essential)  Comfortable working independently in a mobile environment  Professional, customer-focused approach  Organised and capable of managing workload across multiple sites  Confident in diagnostics, MOT prep, and defect rectification Ability to work independently and as part of a team  Professional attitude when providing mobile and onsite support On Offer is:  Excellent OTE potential  22 days holiday, increasing periodically up to 26 days  Enhanced sick pay scheme  Profit share scheme  Long-term, stable employment with a strong customer-focused operation  Supportive and well equipped workshop If you’re a skilled HGV Technician or Mobile HGV Technician looking for a weekday-only role with strong earning potential and varied work, then please send your CV to Danica Baker at Sprint Recruitment
