Product Development Engineer

Product Development Engineer Our client develops innovative products that shape the future. They manufacture and supply precision-engineered sealing and component solutions across a broad range of industries. They are looking to hire a Product Development Engineer into their business, the role would suit someone that is passionate about engineering, thrives on solving complex challenges, and wants to work directly with customers on cutting-edge projects. This role also offers a defined career and leadership development path. Main Responsibilities: Drive end-to-end product development from concept to launch Design and create tools, drawings, and components using SolidWorks Program and optimize machining processes with FeatureCAM (or similar) Conduct tool trials, lifecycle testing, and high-level inspections (CMM / ISIR / FAIRs) Develop work instructions and lead customer communications for R&D projects Support non-conformance investigations and continuous improvement initiatives Experience: Expertise in SolidWorks, machining principles, and tool design Skilled in FeatureCAM or similar CAM software A natural leader and mentor with excellent communication skills Advanced IT skills - Excel, presentations, data systems Engineering qualifications: Time-served apprenticeship, HNC/HND/BSc Desirable: Experience in rubber moulding technology Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
