Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Interior Fit-Out Location: Birmingham | Salary: Up to £40,000 per year | Type: Permanent, Full-Time Joshua Robert Recruitment is partnering with a well-established, traditional Design & Build contractor in Birmingham, specialising in interior fit-out projects across retail, hospitality, leisure and commercial office sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a small, close-knit team during a growth phase, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of commercial management. Key Responsibilities Support cost planning, budgeting, and cost control on fit-out projects Assist with procurement, subcontractor enquiries, and supplier management Help prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts Support cash flow and cost reporting to project teams Liaise with site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors Ensure projects are delivered on budget and meet commercial targets What We're Looking For HNC/HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying (or related discipline) Previous experience in construction or interior fit-out (preferred but not essential) Strong numerical, organisational, and analytical skills Proactive, reliable, and keen to develop within a growing business Excellent communication and team-working skills Full UK driving licence preferred What's on Offer Salary up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience Hands-on experience across a variety of interior fit-out projects Genuine career progression in a growing, supportive business Work within a small, friendly, and professional team How to Apply For a confidential discussion or more information, contact: David Lane 📞 (phone number removed) ✉️ (url removed)
