Mechanical Design Manager – €150,000–€170,000 + Benefits (Fully Remote) Location: Dublin, Ireland (Fully Remote – travel as required) Sector: Data Centre / Mechanical Design / Building Services / Mission Critical Package: €120,000–€140,000 + Bonus + Fully Remote A leading international engineering consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Design Manager with strong data centre project experience to lead mechanical design teams across Europe. This is a senior leadership position offering complete remote flexibility, with occasional travel to Dublin or project sites. You will manage design delivery for large-scale, mission-critical facilities. Key Responsibilities * Lead mechanical design across hyperscale and colocation data centre projects. * Manage all design stages – concept, detailed design, procurement, and construction support. * Oversee HVAC, cooling, piping, and fire protection design. * Coordinate with electrical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure fully integrated solutions. * Ensure compliance with client standards, budgets, and timelines. * Support innovation, sustainability, and digital design (BIM/Revit). * Mentor and develop design engineers and junior managers. Requirements * Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering. * 10+ years’ mechanical design experience, including data centre or mission-critical environments. * Proven leadership of design teams on complex technical projects. * Strong client-facing and coordination skills. * Chartered Engineer (preferred).
