Warehouse Operative – Temporary Ongoing Role (Rotating Shifts) Location: Robertsbridge Pay: £12.21 – £13.50 per hour Job Type: Temporary Ongoing About the Role Our client has a large workforce and is looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis, covering holiday and sickness throughout the year. There are plenty of hours available, and flexibility is essential as shift patterns will vary. You must be available to work on rotating shifts (days and nights). Important: Due to the location, you must have a valid driving licence and your own vehicle. The site is not accessible by public transport or on foot. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operative Duties: Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles Ensure goods are correctly placed and secured Maintain a clean and safe working area Follow all safety protocols Operate the weighbridge system to record vehicle weights accurately Monitor and manage site access from the gatehouse security desk Check and log incoming/outgoing vehicles and deliveries Support site security procedures and compliance standards Assist drivers and visitors entering the siteIdeal Candidate Previous experience in warehouse, loading bay, distribution, or weighbridge preferred but not essential Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication skills with a professional approach Flexible with rotating shifts (days and nights) Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented Must have access to own transport (site not accessible by public transport)What We Offer Competitive hourly rates (£12.21 – £13.50 per hour) Weekly pay Full training provided Supportive team environment Onsite parking and canteen with hot and cold food options Full facilities within the gatehouse for weighbridge staff Opportunity for long-term assignments with temp-to-perm for the right candidate
