Assistant Facilities Manager Location: Milton Keynes - Within 30 mins of office Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum Permanent Are you ready to take the next step in your facilities management career? We’re seeking a proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to support the delivery of best-in-class FM services across a diverse commercial property portfolio — including multi-tenanted industrial, office, and neighbourhood retail schemes. Reporting directly to the Head of Facilities Management, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, building strong tenant relationships, and maintaining compliance across multiple client sites. What You’ll Do * Assist in overseeing FM services across varied client portfolios * Support contractor management and supplier procurement * Administer Health & Safety and Contractor Registration Scheme systems * Conduct regular site and vacant unit inspections with detailed reporting * Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation * Build and maintain strong tenant relationships * Instruct contractors on planned and ad hoc maintenance work * Assist with service charge budgets, annual expenditure, and reconciliations * Support utility procurement, approve supplier invoices, and manage tenant recharges What We’re Looking For * Minimum 1 year’s experience in commercial facilities management * Strong knowledge of FM principles and health & safety compliance * Ability to work independently and proactively * Relationship-builder with suppliers and tenants alike * Willingness to travel to sites across the UK (typically within 2.5 hours) Why Join Us?
