Groundworks Supervisor / Foreman – Finishing Works Location: Crawley, West Sussex Start Date: Immediate Duration: Ongoing with follow-on projects across Sussex & the South East We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Supervisor / Foreman to manage finishing works on a residential groundworks project based in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable supervisor looking for long-term continuity of work, with future projects already secured across Sussex and the South East. Role & Responsibilities: * Supervising and managing all finishing works on a residential groundworks site * Overseeing daily site operations and coordinating labour * Ensuring works are completed to programme and specification * Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site quality * Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and groundworks teams * Completing daily records, progress updates, and snagging works Requirements: * Proven experience as a Groundworks Supervisor / Foreman * Strong knowledge of residential finishing works, including: * Paving, kerbs, edgings * Drainage finishes and chambers * Final levels, topsoiling, and external works * Ability to manage labour and maintain productivity * SMSTS or SSSTS preferred * First Aid (beneficial) * Valid CSCS card * Strong communication and organisational skills Desirable: * Ability to bring x2 experienced groundworks operatives, forming a 3-man gang * Own basic hand tools * Previous experience working on volume residential developments What’s On Offer: * Immediate start * Competitive rates (DOE) * Long-term work with follow-on projects * Work across Sussex and the South East * Opportunity to build a consistent team within a growing workload To apply: Please submit your CV or contact us directly with your experience, availability, and details of any operatives you can supply
