JOB: Manufacturing Operative Location: Radstock Hours: Double days - see below for details. Contract: Fixed Term Contract - 6 Month Pay: £12.58ph Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operative to join our clients dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that all products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties * Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality output. Follow basic production plans / instructions. * Conduct regular inspections of products and machinery to identify any defects or malfunctions. * Assist in the assembly of products, following detailed instructions and specifications. * Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. * Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. * Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to manufacturing processes. Experience * Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not essential. * Familiarity with operating machinery or tools used in manufacturing is a plus. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
