Job description: My client is a trusted electrical engineering solutions provider working with some of the UK’s largest industries—including quarrying, cement, ports, and bulk material handling. They deliver complex electrical engineering with precision and safety at the core. The Role As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician you will : Maintain, fault find, PPMs and repair electrical systems across heavy industrial sites. Work with MCCs, conveyors, motors, control panels, and instrumentation. Carry out fault-finding, testing, and inspections to ensure compliance. Role is based on 2 of our clients sites cement and aggregate clients and will cover site at Thurrock and North Leek, with potential for additional sites in the area in the near future. What We’re Looking For NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation / Maintenance. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification. Electricians who have worked on aggregates, mining, materials handling, steel, oil/gas or similar heavy industry are preferred Knowledge of control systems, motors, and PLCs (advantageous but not an essential). A commitment to safe working practices. Full UK clean driving licence. What We Offer Competitive salary £20 -22.00 per hour (annual equiv £50-58k) If employed directly. My client will consider self employed candidates at a slightly higher hourly rate as not subject to NI and holidays etc), Working between 40 and 50 hours per week with options for overtime Mon- Friday Working Fully expensed Company Van and tools provided Pension scheme for employees (not subcontractors).
