Shift Supervisor

Shift Manager Location: Stockton Contract: Permanent, Full-time (12-hour rotating shifts - 3 on, 3 off, days and nights) Salary: Competitive + overtime + benefits   Wolviston Management Services are proud to be supporting a leading name in manufacturing, seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join their high-performing production team. This is a key leadership role overseeing a multi-disciplined manufacturing operation, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety compliance are consistently achieved across a busy and dynamic site.   About the Role Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you'll take full responsibility for site activity during your shift—leading, motivating, and developing a team of approximately 25 staff across key production areas including decoration, thermoforming, extrusion, and warehousing. You'll drive performance and efficiency, maintaining high levels of output and product quality while fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.   Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and manage production teams to meet operational and performance targets. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards. Monitor production performance and implement actions to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Manage shift handovers and ensure clear communication across departments. Support training, development, and performance management of team members. Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives, identifying process enhancements and cost-saving opportunities. About You Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role  Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities. ILM Level 3/5 qualification or equivalent desirable. Background in plastics or packaging manufacturing advantageous. Flexible and reliable approach to a 12-hour rotating shift pattern.
