Diagnostic Technician

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Diagnostic Vehicle Technician / Mechanic within a well-respected reputable Automotive Workshop, located in Wellington. Our Automotive Client has a need for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative. Benefits: Competitive basic salary of up to £37,000 per annum depending on experience OTE of up to £45,000 Overtime at time and a half, available regularly 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, with additional holiday entitlement based on service Potential for career progression and training, including MOT certification if desired Access to ongoing training and development in diagnostic techniques Supportive environment with a focus on developing future talentDuties: Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles MOT Testing Replacing cambelts and performing gearbox repairs Mentoring Apprentices enabling them to develop their skills, within the Workshop. Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults. Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standardsRequirements: A Fully Qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence Dedicated and committed approach. Hours of work in this Diagnostic Vehicle Technician role are a 40-hour week, with a half-day on Saturdays.
