HGV1 Driver

HGV1 Drivers Required Our client, based in Garretts Green Birmingham, are seeking HGV1 Drivers to work for them on an ongoing basis For this role as a HGV1 Driver you must have the following: Held your HGV1 licence for atleast 2 years  Had atleast 2 years on road experience as a HGV1 Driver Have no major driving convictions on your licence For the successful HGV1 Driver your duties will include: Driving a curtain or box sided trailer Mostly DAFs, Volvos and Mercedes vehicle - Mostly 70 plates Average 1 drop and collection per shift (This can of course vary) This is a 24/7 sites however the majority of the work starts between 00:01 and 03:00 Most of the loads are palletised therefore there should be no handball involved Working on average 10-12 hours per shift In return for the successful HGV1 Driver we can offer the following: Immediate starts pending succesful receipt of your references The pay rate varies between £21.09 to £25.09 per hour inclusive of holiday pay If you are a HGV1 Driver and seeking work then pleae apply at your earliest convenience
