CNC Machine Operator

We're recruiting on behalf of a long-standing engineering company that's expanding its team due to continued growth.   The role would be perfect for an experienced CNC / Machine Operator looking to progress their career into a role that offers a step into a Team Leader position. Monday to Friday - day shifts. 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays Regular overtime (some operatives earned over £50k last year) Job Security and opportunities to grow with the company  As the Lead CNC Machine Operative, you'll play a key role within a busy engineering department - operating grinding machines while providing guidance and support to a team of three operatives. Your main duties will include: Operating CNC grinding machines in a safe and efficient manner Using engineering measuring equipment to QC check production Training and supporting employees In line with company skills matrix Taking ownership of all elements of safety, quality, cost and delivery   What we're looking for:   A background in engineering, particularly CNC grinding, is desired but not essential.   If you have robust metal machining engineering skills, logical thinking and some experience supporting others, then we'd love to hear from you.   Role Details: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00 (3pm finish on Fridays) Location Congleton Salary from £17 per hour (annual increase in April) Regular overtime paid at time and a half - An OTE of around £50k Profit share bonus scheme 25 days holiday + Company Benefits Genuine career development up to production management
