SEN Teaching Assistant – Multiple Roles Available Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? A thriving two-form entry primary school in Havering is expanding its SEND provision and is seeking experienced, adaptable, and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistants to join their supportive and dedicated team. Responsibilities may include: • Supporting pupils in both the inclusion room and mainstream class • Using visuals—such as core boards—to aid communication and learning • Implementing behaviour strategies aligned with individual needs • Working across classes rather than in a solely 1:1 capacity • Using initiative to support both staff and pupils in a fast-paced environment • Adapting quickly to different age groups and learning styles Children’s needs are wide-ranging, and the school ensures the right match by discussing specifics during trial days.
